Halo Dolly Gets Back In The Winner’s Circle

     Halo Dolly, who had impressive winning streak snapped in the Grade 2 Cotillion Stakes at Parx Racing in Pennsylvania on Oct. 1, got back into the winner’s circle Sunday at Golden Gate Fields.

     Halo Dolly had won five straight races – including two stakes – before traveling to Parx (formerly Philadelphia Park) and finishing last in the $750,000 Cotillion, a  1 1/16-mile test for 3-year-old fillies.

Pick Six Carryover At GGF Reaches $335,167 After Longshots Win Back-To-Back Races

     Longshots scored victories in back-to-back races Thursday at Golden Gate Fields, spurring a Pick Six carryover of $335,167 into Friday’s racing program.  

     First post Friday is 12:45 p.m. and the Pick Six, which challenges bettors to select the winners of six consecutive races, will be held on races three through eight.  Post time for the third race is 1:47 p.m.  

Early Bird Opening At GGF For Breeders’ Cup Simulcast

     All gates at Golden Gate Fields open at 8:30 a.m. Saturday for the simulcast of Day 2 of the Breeders’ Cup World Championships from Churchill Downs in Louisville.
