Pick Six Hit For $452,132 At Golden Gate Fields

     The Pick Six was finally hit Sunday at Golden Gate Fields and the lucky winners cashed in for $452,132.

     A perfect Pick Six ticket had eluded handicappers for six consecutive racing programs, setting up a carryover of $350,263.  The impressive carryover enticed bettors to pump in another $997,824 into the Pick Six Sunday.

     The Pick Six was held on races four through nine and only two tickets had all six winners.  The winning horses in the Pick Six sequence were: Marsky’s Pride ($25.40), Cozzena Angelina ($11.00), Eddie Coddana ($7.40), Wise Student ($38.80), Dark Dolores ($5.40), and Can’t Topper ($6.20).

     Dark Dolores and Can’t Topper were the only favorites to deliver in the Pick Six races.  There were 116 tickets with five winners and the holders of those tickets received a consolation payoff of $2,047.

      Racing will resume at Golden Gate Fields Wednesday.   Post time is 12:45 p.m.
