Jockey Cedillo Rides Winners Of Late Daily Double

Jockey Abel Cedillo rode the winners of the late Daily Double Thursday at Golden Gate Fields.

Cedillo won the 5 1/2-furlong sixth race with heavy 1-2 favorite Easy Going Boykie, who rallied from fifth in a field of eight to score by one length over Draw Two Buck.  Trained by Steve Miyadi, Easy Going Boykie paid $3.00 after recording his second straight victory and his third win in seven career starts.

Cedillo came right back to take the six-furlong seventh race with 2-1 second choice Power of Nine, who defeated 8-5 favorite Ribot Belle by a half-length.  Trained by Lloyd Mason, Power of Nine returned $6.60 after earning her first victory since Aug. 6, 2011, when she captured the Wine Country Debutante at Santa Rosa.

The $2 Cedillo Daily Double covering the final two races on the card paid $9.60.
