Holiday Racing Monday At Golden Gate Fields
Golden Gate Fields will present an eight-race program Monday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Gates open at 10 a.m. and post time for the holiday program is 12:45 p.m.
Sunday at Golden Gate Fields, jockey Kyle Frey and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer both won back-to-back races.
Frey won took the fifth race with the John F. Martin-trained Chin’n Tonic ($3.60) and then captured the sixth with the Hollendorfer-trained I’lltakeachance ($5.80). Hollendorfer came right back to win the seventh race with Grand Pioneer ($7.20).
Jockey Dennis Carr also had a riding double. Carr won the first race with Lil Angelina ($5.20) and the eighth race with Jersey’s Soul ($8.80).
