Gonzalez, Amador Ride A Pair Of Winners

Apprentice Ricardo Gonzalez and jockey Silvio Amador both rode a pair of winners Thursday at Golden Gate Fields.

Gonzalez’ wins bookended the seven-race program.  Gonzalez won the first race with Gray Madam ($6.80), who edged the Amador-ridden Wild Nicole by a half-length, and the seventh with heavy favorite No Baby ($3.80).

Amador, who entered Thursday’s card with two victories from 24 mounts, rode back-to-back winners.  Amador captured the fifth race with 9-5 second choice Deputy Miss ($5.80) and the sixth with Gutshot Straight ($6.40).

Racing continues at Golden Gate Fields Friday.  Post time is 12:45 p.m. and Gonzalez has mounts in six of the seven races.  Amador has two mounts.
