Golden Gate Fields Open All Summer For Simulcast Wagering

     Golden Gate Fields will be open all summer for simulcast wagering on horseracing action from across the country.  Live racing will resume at Golden Gate Fields on Aug. 17, when the East Bay track opens its 2012 summer meeting.

     Simulcast wagering is offered on a Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule in the Golden Gate Fields club house.  Gates open at 10 a.m.

     The simulcast menu at Golden Gate Fields will feature racing from the top tracks in the nation, including Belmont Park (through July 15), Hollywood Park (through July 15), Del Mar (beginning July 18), Saratoga (beginning July 20), Monmouth Park (through September 30), and Arlington Park (through September 30).

     Golden Gate Fields will simulcast racing from all the stops on the Northern California summer fair circuit – the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton (June 20-July 8), the State Fair in Sacramento (July 11-July 22), the Sonoma County Fair in Santa Rosa (July 25-August 12) and the Humboldt County Fair in Ferndale (August 15-August 26).  

     Golden Gate Fields will present its summer meet from August 17-September 16 and then simulcast racing from the final two stops on the fair circuit, the San Joaquin County Fair in Stockton (September 19-September 30) and The Big Fresno Fair (October 3 through October 14).
