Golden Gate Fields Gates Open At 7:15 A.M. For Kentucky Derby Day Party

     All admission gates at Golden Gate Fields open at 7:15 a.m. Saturday for the simulcast of the entire Kentucky Derby Day racing card from Churchill Downs in Louisville, where first post is 7:30 a.m.

     Golden Gate Fields will present a 10-race card of its own and post time for the first local race is 11:45 a.m.

      Post time for the 139th running of the Kentucky Derby is 3:24 p.m.  Golden Gate Fields will take extra time between its seventh and eighth races to show the television broadcast of the Run For The Roses on monitors throughout the facility.

      Kentucky Derby-themed parties, mint juleps, hat contests, and live music will all be part of Golden Gate Fields’ celebration of America’s most important race.
