Four Jockeys Split Up The Races At Golden Gate Fields

 

     Jockeys Russell Baze, Kevin Krigger, Aaron Gryder, and Juan Hernandez all won a pair of races on Thursday’s eight-race program at Golden Gate Fields.
 
     Baze, who tops the rider standings at the fall meeting with 21 wins, captured the fifth race with Make Mine Remy ($7.40) and the seventh with Tiger’s Mistress ($14.00).  Krigger, second in the standings with 20 victories, scored with Life Is a Rock ($7.20) in the first race and Dynamite Red ($8.00) in the fourth.
 
     Gryder, the third-leading rider with 19 wins, took the third race with Baton Roo ($4.60) and the sixth with She’s All Yours ($7.00).  Hernandez, who moved into a tie for fifth place in the standings with his double, triumphed with Wavy Lass ($6.60) in the second race and Alevei ($19.80) in the eighth.  
 
     Hernandez, Leslie Mawing, Inoel Beato, and Abel Cedillo all have eight victories at the fall session.
 
     Racing continues at Golden Gate Fields Friday.  Post time is 12:45 p.m.
