Baze, Krigger End Racing Week With Riding Doubles At GGF

     Jockeys Russell Baze and Kevin Krigger wrapped up the racing week at Golden Gate Fields by riding a pair of winners Sunday.

     Baze won the first race with Halo Dolly ($5.60) and the sixth Unexpected Gift ($7.80).  The riding double capped off a tremendous three-day stretch for Baze, who won five races on Friday and four races on Saturday.

     Krigger scored both of his victories aboard front-running favorites, taking the second race with Upstairs Maid ($5.00) and the ninth with You Better Beware ($4.20).

     Baze and Krigger rank one-two in the Golden Gate Fields jockey standings with 154 and 67 wins, respectively.

      Racing at Golden Gate Fields will resume Thursday when the track kicks off the final week of its 2010-2011 winter/spring meeting.  Post time for the eight-race card is 12:45 p.m.
