Baze Goes 4-For-6 At Golden Gate Fields

Jockey Russell Baze kicked off the racing week at Golden Gate Fields by riding four winners Thursday.

Baze swept the first two races on the card with Soul in One ($4.40) and Piano Kitty ($8.00).  The $2 Baze Daily Double paid $18.20.

Baze finished third aboard odds-on favorite Undeniable Fact in the third race but then bounced back to win the fourth and fifth races with Funi Act ($6.60) and City Route ($7.60).  The Baze Daily Double covering races four and five returned a healthy $39.80.
