$350,262 Pick Six Carryover At Golden Gate Fields Sunday

$350,262 Pick Six Carryover At Golden Gate Fields Sunday

Handicappers across the country will be focusing their attention on Golden Gate Fields Sunday thanks to a Pick Six carryover of $350,262.

The Pick Six will be held on races four through nine, and post time for the fourth is 2:19 p.m.  The nine-race program begins at 12:45 p.m. and Golden Gate Fields is offering $1 general parking, $1 general admission, $1 programs, $1 hot dogs, $1 beers and $1 sodas.

Spurred by a carryover of $128,660, handicappers bet $399,116 into the Pick Six Saturday.  The sequence proved too tough for the players, however, as five of six was the best bettors could do.  The consolation payoff for having five winners was $6,331.40.

Silentcrystalwater ($3.80), who won the fourth race as the odds-on favorite, was the only favorite to get the job done in Saturday’s Pick Six sequence (races four through nine).  Silentcrystalwater was followed into the winner’s circle by Japanese Comet ($13.60), Intriguing Vision ($16.20), Posse’s Princess ($15.40), Lethargic ($43.80), and Sound Of Money ($12.80).

Fans handicapping Sunday’s card should note that there will be no turf racing due to the recent rains.  The third, sixth and eighth races, which were scheduled for the turf, will be run on the track’s synthetic Tapeta racing surface.
