10 Local Races, Breeders’ Cup Simulcast Saturday At Golden Gate Fields
Golden Gate Fields will present a 10-race card Saturday and also simulcast all the action from Day 2 of Breeders’ Cup World Championships from Santa Anita.
All admission gates open at 9 a.m. and post time at Santa Anita is 10:05 a.m. while first post at Golden Gate Fields is 11:40 a.m.
Post time for the first Breeders’ Cup race, the Juvenile Turf (Race 4), is 11:50 a.m.
Baze Finishes Seventh Aboard Breeders’ Cup Longshot -- Jockey Russell Baze finished seventh aboard 38-1 longshot Class Included in the $2 million Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic at Santa Anita Friday. The race was won by 8-5 favorite Royal Delta ($5.40), who took the 1 1/8-mile feature in front-running fashion under jockey Mike Smith.
Class Included was the lone Breeders’ Cup mount for Baze, who has seven mounts at Golden Gate Fields Saturday.
