Food & Beverage: Line Cooks/Prep Cooks
Description: Golden Gate Fields is looking for seasonal and part-time line cooks.
Successful candidates for line cook will have experience in a high volume kitchen. Candidate must be a team player, have a positive demeanor and a love of food.
Successful candidates for line cook positions should have experience in back-of-house operations at a high volume restaurant. Candidates should be a team player with a positive demeanor.
All candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Also the following abilities are required:
- Maintain a sanitary work environment
- Prep vegetables, meats, and poultry as required
- Adjust thermostat controls to regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, roasters, and steam kettles
- Be familiar with the menu items
- Prepare menu items to order
- Control inventory by monitoring portions, and counting/weighing product
- Requires constant standing, chopping, grilling, lifting, carrying and is fast paced
- Maintain necessary tools and equipment in station areas for complete shift function
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked station. Report shortages of stock or equipment to your manager
- Follow all company Work Rules and Policies during work hours
