Haley won the second race, a five-furlong dash for fillies and mares, with Shou Win ($9.00), who defeated Brewha Baby a nose in a head-bobbing finish. Jockey Leslie Mawing rode Shou Win, a 4-year-old filly who has two wins and two seconds in five career starts.
Haley earned a training double when she captured the seventh race, a one-mile turf event for fillies and mares, with Thainty ($7.60). Jockey Inoel Beato was aboard Thainty, a 5-year-old mare who improved to 5-for-10 on turf.
Haley will try to continue her roll Friday when she sends out Uncle Mim in the sixth race. There is a special 1:45 p.m. post time for Friday’s eight-race card.
