TOUGH SPRINT AT GGF FRIDAY; RACING WEEK BEGINS THURSDAY 

TOUGH SPRINT AT GGF FRIDAY  --  Friday’s third race at Golden Gate Fields is a six-furlong allowance dash that has attracted multiple stakes-winners Tribesman and Siren Lure. 

     The 5-year-old gelding Tribesman has won eight of his 15 career races and will be making his first start since winning the California Cup Sprint last October.  Siren Lure, an 8-year-old gelding who has been victorious in 15 of his 37 races, is looking to become a millionaire as he enters Friday’s feature with $994,244 in career earnings.

      RACING WEEK BEGINS THURSDAY  --  The racing week at Golden Gate Fields begins Thursday with an eight-race card and continues through Sunday.  Post time is 12:45 p.m.     

      Golden Gate Fields’ Spring Concert Series continues Sunday with Tito Garcia Y Su Orquesta Internacional performing on the trackside stage from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Sunday is Dollar Day with the track offering $1 general parking, $1 general admission, $1 hot dogs, $1 beers and $1 sodas.
