Off Interstate 80 along the San Francisco Bay in the City of Albany, eight miles from downtown Oakland and 11 miles from San Francisco. Take 'Gilman Street' or 'Buchanan Street' exits.

- Take I-80 East onto Bay Bridge toward Oakland
- Continue on I-80

From San Francisco Peninsula:
- Cross the San Mateo/Hayward Bridge or Dumbarton Bridge
- Merge onto I-880
- Merge onto I-580 or I-80
- (For Valet Parking) Take Gilman Street Exit
- (For General Parking) Take Buchanan Street Exit
From San Jose:
- Take I-880 North via the ramp to Oakland
- Merge onto I-580 or I-80
- (For Valet Parking) Take Gilman Street Exit
- (For General Parking) Take Buchanan Street Exit
From North Bay/Marin:
- Take 101 South via ramp to San Francisco
- Merge onto I-580 Richmond/San Rafael Bridge
- Cross the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge
- Continue on I-580
- (For General Parking) Take Buchanan Street Exit (Exit on Left Side)
- (For Valet Parking) Take Gilman Street Exit and turn Right at the Stop Sign

Golden Gate Fields is approximately 10 miles from Oakland International Airport and 25 miles from the San Francisco International Airport.
BART: Bay Area Rapid Transit service from San Francisco, Pittsburg, Richmond and Fremont. Exit at North Berkeley station. Golden Gate Fields is then just a cab ride away. BART (510) 465-2271.
